1. Each time you notice even tiny blessings, such as getting a seat on the subway, finding a penny, or having someone smile at you, say an inward prayer of thanks. Gratitude helps keep your intentions charged with energy.
2. Speak and listen from your heart.
3. Avoid gossiping or making judgments.
4. Let your actions, your increased compassion, and your loving energy be a model to others without trying to convince them to follow your way.
5. Each person has his/her own time schedule for development, as much as you want them to come along with you, they must do so at their own pace and inclination.
6. Stuck in rehashing each and every negative thing that has befallen us, our minds are feeding negative emotions. We continue to feel a victim of the past.
7. When we identify ourselves mostly by what we have survived or suffered, then we have limited our capacity to move beyond them.
8. What you resist persists.
9. Worry – ways we spend energy negatively.
